So BREAKING NEWS: The Tigers need a CONSISTENT closer. Yeah, I know, it's not so breaking. But, with all the pitchers the Tigers have in the minors and that they drafted, there bullpen could be rejuvinated in the upcoming years, so they probably aren't going for someone whos looking for a home for a while. I believe Trevor Hoffman fits that category. He's 41. Is the all time leading saves leader. Do you think the Tigers can get him? Will they even pursue him? I read this article and it mentioned JJ Putz... That'd be a pretty big trade for Detroit.... probably involving Magglio. I'm not sure if Dombrowski will pull that string.
